IDP2308 is a multi-mode PFC+LLC combination controller that integrates floating high-end drivers and startup units. It adopts a compact low pin count DSO-14 package, greatly reducing the demand for external components. And the built-in high-voltage starting unit of the controller, combined with advanced burst mode function, effectively reduces standby power consumption. Meanwhile, IDP2308 also supports burst mode control of synchronous PFC and LLC, and its configurable PFC driver can adapt to multiple operating modes, achieving higher efficiency and power density than traditional LLC plus MOSFET combinations. In addition, IDP2308 integrates configurable protection functions, further reducing the number of peripheral components. Its built-in processor supports communication with dpVision software through a half duplex UART interface, allowing users to easily program and configure PFC and LLC parameters, and store these settings in disposable programming memory.
CoolGaN? The 650V G5 is a new series of high-voltage discrete devices launched by Infineon. Compared to previous products, CoolGaN? The performance of the 650V G5 transistor has been further improved, with a 50% reduction in energy stored in its output capacitor (Eoss) and a 60% reduction in drain source charge (Qoss) and gate charge (Qg). These improvements enable the transistor to exhibit excellent efficiency in both hard and soft switching applications. Meanwhile, compared to traditional semiconductor technology, CoolGaN? The power loss of the 650V G5 transistor is significantly reduced, and can be reduced by 20% to 60% depending on specific usage conditions. Thanks to these advantages, the product is able to operate at extremely low power consumption at high frequencies and has excellent power density.
