On April 17, 2025, Da Da Da Lian Holdings, an international leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary Youshang has launched a high-precision positioning system application solution based on STMicroelectronics' (ST) STA8135 GNSS chip and Tianhe Intelligent Control TH1100 module.


In recent years, with the booming development of various fields such as drones, surveying and mapping, autonomous driving of agricultural machinery, driving tests and training, and intelligent lawn mowers, the demand for GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) in the market has been continuously increasing. In this context, Da Da Da Da You Shang has launched a high-precision positioning system application solution based on the ST STA8135 chip and the Tianhe Intelligent Control TH1100 module, aiming to meet the growing demand for high-precision positioning and help various industries achieve intelligent upgrades.


STA8135 is ST's new generation of three frequency high-precision positioning chip, which supports multi constellation and multi frequency signal reception and has centimeter level positioning capability. Combined with Tianhe Intelligent Control's RTK (Real Time Kinematic) algorithm, it can better meet the high-precision positioning needs of various application markets.


Tianhe Intelligent Control focuses on the research and production of key components for intelligent connected vehicles, and has accumulated rich technical and engineering experience in the field of high-precision navigation and positioning. The company has launched a series of high-precision positioning products through independently developed system architecture, core algorithms, and hardware design, including high-precision positioning modules, integrated navigation modules, positioning terminals (VPNS), high-performance inertial components (MEMS-IMU), and vehicle mounted navigation antennas. The TH1100 module used in this scheme is based on the STA8135 chip and supports the simultaneous reception of tri frequency signals (L1+L2+L5) from multiple constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and QZSS. It achieves centimeter level positioning accuracy through an external RTK algorithm. In addition, the TH1110 module is equipped with an inertial measurement unit (IMU), which has the ability to calculate trajectories. Even in weak satellite signals or signal free environments, it can continuously provide accurate positioning information by integrating IMU data, GNSS measurements, vehicle speed information, and dynamic models.
