On September 2, 2025, Da Da Da Lian Holdings, an internationally leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary, Shiping, will launch a new product line mainly consisting of Flagchip FC4150F512BS1P64T1A MCU, supplemented by NXP SBC chip MFS2300BMBA0EP, onsemi IPM module NFVA23512NP2T, PSR DC/DC NCV12711ADNR2G device, SGMicro operational amplifier SGM8557H-1AQ, NOVOSENSE isolator NSI8220W0, NSI1311 and NSI1300D25, Molex connector, and WET. Vishay's new energy source automotive e-Compressor air compressor solution for resistors.

Driven by the global "dual carbon" target, the new energy vehicle industry is reshaping the automotive industry pattern with an average annual growth rate of over 40%. And with the popularization of technologies such as 800V high-voltage platforms and heat pump air conditioning, the performance requirements of the air compressor (e-Compressor), which is the core component of automobiles, are rapidly increasing. Its energy efficiency ratio and reliability may directly affect the vehicle's range and driving experience. In response to this trend, Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Shi Ping has launched a new energy vehicle e-Compressor air compressor solution, which is mainly based on the Qixin Micro FC4150F512BS1P64T1A MCU, equipped with NXP SBC chip MFS2300BMBA0EP, onsemi IPM module NFVA23512NP2T, PSR DC/DC NCV12711ADNR2G device, Shengbang Micro operational amplifier SGM8557H-1AQ, nano core micro isolator NSI8220W0, NSI1311 and NSI1300D25, Molex connector, and Vishay resistor.

Qixin Micro FC4150F512BS1P64T1A is a 32-bit microcontroller based on Arm Cortex-M4 core, with a maximum operating frequency of 150MHz, built-in high-speed memory, rich I/O ports and peripherals, and the ability to expand multiple functions.


 


In terms of IPM module design, the solution adopts Onsemi's NFVA23512NP2T chip, which is equipped with three high-speed half bridge high-voltage gate drive circuits, integrated (1200V/35A) low loss IGBT tubes, built-in high side bootstrap diodes, supports up to 20kHz PWM, and has a minimum dead time of 2 μ s. And the device also provides multiple protection functions, including undervoltage lockout, overcurrent lockout, temperature monitoring and fault reporting of the driver and integrated circuit, which can bring high-performance and high safety features to the automotive motor.


 


The low-voltage power supply of this scheme is divided into two paths. In the MCU power supply section, a power management chip with functional safety - MFS2300BMBA0EP - is used. This product integrates multiple LDO outputs and various monitoring and diagnostic functions, including wake-up input, watchdog, reset, interrupt, and failure output after circuit diagnosis. The device also has built-in CAN and LIN modules, which can quickly interact with other modules. In addition, MFS2300BMBA0EP communicates with MCU through SPI, providing potential fault monitoring reports during system operation to enhance safety features.


 


The IPM power supply adopts onsemi's NCV12711ADNR2G, which is a fixed frequency peak current mode PWM controller suitable for isolated DC/DC topology. This device operates in the range of 4V to 45V without the need for auxiliary windings, supports programmable frequency adjustment from 100kHz to 1MHz, and has built-in slope compensation to avoid subharmonic oscillations. In addition, the controller integrates soft start, under voltage lockout (UVLO), and over power protection (OPP) functions to enhance system safety.


 


In the selection of isolators, the NSI8220W0, NSI1311, and NSI1300D25 used in the scheme are all products under the Nanochip Micro brand. Among them, NSI8220W0 is used for transmitting PWM signals, feedback VFO, and LDO-PG signals; NSI1311 is used for sampling bus voltage and IPM temperature signals; NSI1300D25 is used for current sampling of the bottom tube of IPM.


 


In terms of operational amplifiers, the SGM8557H-1AQ, a vehicle grade product under the Saint Bang Micro brand, can convert the differential signals output by voltage and current sampling isolators into single ended outputs for MCU ADC peripheral sampling.

In terms of software design, the solution adopts the software library architecture of Shiping Sensorless FOC dual resistor sampling, and uses the onboard potentiometer to give speed commands to rotate the motor. And the dual loop control of current loop acceleration loop is adopted to make the system operation more stable. By leveraging the advantages of software and hardware, the solution meets the ASIL-B functional safety level and can provide full scenario safety protection for new energy vehicles.
