On August 28, 2025, Shanghai, China - SITWEI (Shanghai) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: SITWEI, stock code: 688213) recently announced the launch of the new 50 megapixel 1.0 μ m pixel size mobile application CMOS image sensor - SC562HS. Based on the SmartClarity XL technology platform, SC562HS adopts the 55nm Stacked BSI process and is equipped with multiple advantageous technologies such as Siwei's patented PixGain HDR, SFCPixel, and AllPix ADAF. It has multiple performance advantages such as high dynamic range, high sensitivity, low noise, and fast focusing. SC562HS is an expanded new product of the high-performance Stacked BSI series produced by SITWEI, which not only ensures excellent imaging performance but also takes into account cost advantages. It can bring comprehensive upgraded excellent image effects to mainstream smartphone main cameras, further promoting the popularization of domestic high-performance Stacked BSI technology.

Higher dynamic range, upgraded video lighting texture
The SC562HS is equipped with Sitwell's patented PixGain HDR technology, with a dynamic range of up to 88dB, providing mainstream smartphone cameras with high dynamic range video shooting capabilities comparable to current high-end flagship phones. In PixGain HDR mode, the SC562HS uses single exposure on film dual frame fusion to help the camera capture clearer dark details, achieving high dynamic video shooting effects with consistent brightness, rich light and shadow layers, and no motion artifacts.
Moreover, PixGain HDR technology supports on-chip dual frame fusion, which not only reduces the computing power requirements of smartphone SoC for high dynamic range video shooting, but also helps to reduce the power consumption of smartphone SoC, alleviate device heating during shooting, and ensure long-term stable high-definition video recording. In addition, SC562HS also supports multiple HDR modes such as Staged HDR and NDOL HDR, which can flexibly meet the application needs of different models.
Excellent imaging effect, easy capture of night scenes
As a 50 megapixel CMOS image sensor for mobile phone main camera applications, SC562HS has excellent high sensitivity and noise suppression performance, which can significantly improve the imaging quality of the camera in low light environments such as evening and night, ensuring clear, delicate, and clean night scene shooting effects.
High sensitivity
SC562HS is built on the advanced SmartClarity XL process platform from STMicroelectronics, with a large pixel size of 1.0 μ m and a sensitivity of up to 4033mV/lux * s, significantly higher than products of the same specifications in the industry. Therefore, even in low light environments such as cloudy days and nighttime, the SC562HS can help the phone camera capture bright, clear, and high-quality images.
Low noise
In low light environments such as night scenes, excessive noise from image sensors can lead to reduced detail clarity, overall color accuracy and layering effects, increased image interference, and other image quality issues. With the advanced SFC Pixel and low-noise readout circuit technology from SITWEI, SC562HS has achieved excellent noise suppression capability, with a readout noise of less than 1e -, which is about 56.7% lower than its competitors in the same specifications in the industry. It can make the details of night scene imaging clearer and more transparent.
Dual mode fast focusing, flexible adaptation to applications
SC562HS supports two fast focusing modes, AllPix ADAF and Sparse PDAF, which can optimize power consumption while ensuring high-speed and accurate focusing. When there is insufficient light, the SC562HS can use AllPix ADAF mode to achieve accurate and fast focusing in low light scenes through 100% full pixel focusing, meeting the needs of high-speed night photography. Moreover, the SC562HS supports 100% full pixel autofocus in 4k 30fps PixGain HDR video recording, ensuring fast tracking of high-definition and high dynamic videos. Under normal lighting conditions, SC562HS can use Sparse PDAF, which achieves fast focusing while reducing operating power consumption through 6% pixel phase detection. SC562HS has dual-mode fast focusing capability, which can flexibly adapt to diverse imaging strategies of different models and meet more application needs.
Domestic high-performance Stacked BSI series expansion
SC562HS is a series expansion product of the high-performance Stacked BSl produced by SITWEI, which not only brings comprehensive performance improvement but also takes into account cost advantages. SC562HS can be combined with the same series of mobile CIS products SC532HS and SC130HS to form a complete solution for mobile camera CIS, which comprehensively improves the imaging performance of mainstream smartphones and helps promote the popularization and application of domestic high-performance Stacked BSI technology.
