SITWEI launches 200 million pixel 0.61 μ m pixel size ultra high definition mobile application CMOS image sensor

On October 16, 2025, Shanghai, China - SITWEI (Shanghai) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: SITWEI, stock code: 688213) recently announced the launch of the 200 million pixel 0.61 μ m pixel size ultra high definition mobile application CMOS image sensor - SCC80XS. Based on the advanced SmartClarity SL Pro technology platform from STMicroelectronics, the SCC80XS adopts a 22nm Stack advanced process technology and is equipped with multiple advantageous technologies such as Siwei PixGain HDR, SFC Pixel SL, and AllPix ADAF. It has multiple performance advantages such as low noise, high color reproduction, high sensitivity, and low power consumption, and supports high frame rate and high dynamic range video recording. It can be applied to various types of cameras such as high-end flagship phones' main and auxiliary cameras, helping to upgrade the imaging capabilities of flagship phones and create a new ultra high definition flagship image quality.

The SCC80XS has 200 million ultra high definition pixels and supports 2x (50MP) and 4x (12.5MP) zoom within the sensor, enabling high-definition shooting in full focus range, making both distant and close shots clear. The SCC80XS can be flexibly applied to various types of mobile phone cameras such as main cameras, telephoto cameras, wide-angle cameras, etc., bringing a new ultra clear field of view to flagship smartphones.

SFC Pixel SL technology captures ultra clear night scenes


As a 0.61 μ m pixel size CMOS image sensor for mobile applications, the SCC80XS is built on the advanced SmartClarity SL Pro technology platform from STMicroelectronics, innovatively integrating patented SFC Pixel SL technology to achieve significant noise reduction. In 200MP and 50MP modes, its read noise is only about 0.7e -, which is about 47% lower than products of the same specifications in the industry; In 12.5MP mode, its read noise is only about 1.2e -, which is about 28% lower than products of the same specifications in the industry. The excellent noise suppression performance of SCC80XS can significantly enhance the quality of night scene imaging, helping flagship smartphone cameras capture ultra clear night scenes with clear details and delicate images.

Upgraded optical structure with high sensitivity and high color reproduction


The first release of SCC80XS adopts the new Narrow BDTI (NBDTITM) and Low-n Grid upgraded optical structure from STMicroelectronics, achieving high color reproduction and optical sensitivity for small pixels. Based on NBDTI? Optical technology, SCC80XS adopts an ultra narrow pixel isolation structure, which can effectively reduce light crosstalk, avoid color mixing, and make the imaging colors of mobile phone cameras more realistic and accurate. Based on Low-n Grid optical technology, the SCC80XS uses a new Grid material to significantly improve optical sensitivity while ensuring low crosstalk. Its peak quantum efficiency (peak QE) is as high as 80%, which can significantly optimize imaging effects in low light environments, making the images captured by mobile phone cameras brighter and clearer.


 


High frame rate and high dynamic range professional video texture


The SCC80XS is equipped with Siwei PixGain HDR technology, with a dynamic range of up to 85dB. In video shooting, based on PixGain HDR technology, the SCC80XS can preserve more details in bright and dark areas, while effectively suppressing the generation of motion artifacts, helping mobile phone cameras achieve high dynamic range video shooting effects with rich light and shadow layers, consistent brightness and darkness, and clear without ghosting. Moreover, the SCC80XS can support 4K 120fps ultra-high frame rate video shooting in normal mode, as well as full focus 4K 60fps HDR high frame rate and high dynamic range video shooting, bringing vivid light and shadow, smooth and silky video shooting experience, meeting the needs of professional video creation.

Excellent focusing performance and ultra-low power consumption performance


The SCC80XS is equipped with Skyworth AllPix ADAF and Sparse PDAF technologies, supporting flexible switching between two fast focus modes in different lighting environments. When the ambient light is insufficient, the SCC80XS can activate the AllPix ADAF mode, achieving high-speed and precise focusing through 100% full pixel focusing. Under normal lighting conditions, the SCC80XS can activate the Sparse PDAF mode, which uses 6% pixel phase detection to ensure fast and accurate focusing while reducing operating power consumption.


 


In addition, thanks to the SmartClarity SL Pro technology platform and advanced 22nm Stack process, the SCC80XS has achieved significant power optimization. Its ultra-low power consumption performance can effectively reduce device heating during high-definition video recording on mobile phones, ensuring long-term and stable shooting, and improving the overall battery life of the device.
