On December 25, 2025, Shanghai, China - SITWEI (Shanghai) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: SITWEI, stock code: 688213) recently announced the launch of the high-end 50 million pixel 0.7 μ m pixel size mobile application CMOS image sensor - SC525XS. Based on the SmartClarity SL Pro technology platform, the SC525XS adopts an advanced process of 28+nm Stack and is equipped with multiple advantageous technologies such as Siwei's patented PixGain HDR, SFC Pixel SL, and AllPix ADAF. It has multiple performance advantages such as high dynamic range, low noise, fast focusing, and low power consumption. As a domestically produced high-end mobile application CMOS image sensor, the SC525XS innovatively features low-power always on function, which can be applied to various types of auxiliary cameras such as high-end flagship mobile phone front cameras and wide-angle cameras. With refined functional configuration and excellent comprehensive performance, it enhances the image experience of sub camera categories.
Always On low-power normally on, suitable for front camera applications
SC525XS supports Always On low-power normally on function. In this mode, the SC525XS can operate normally at a lower frame rate, meeting the 24/7 standby visual detection needs of high-end smartphone front cameras such as face unlocking and gaze wake-up. For example, in the application of facial recognition function in the front camera of a mobile phone, when there is no activity, the SC525XS will continuously capture small resolution images at a lower frame rate. When a face is recognized, the SC525XS will quickly wake up and switch to the regular imaging mode, achieving high-speed and accurate face unlocking. Thanks to Sitwell's advanced low-power management technology, the SC525XS has a power consumption as low as 1.7mW in Always On mode, effectively ensuring the battery life of smartphones.
Moreover, based on the domestically produced 28+nm Stack process platform, SC525XS has achieved significant optimization of overall power consumption. In normal mode, the power consumption of SC525XS is reduced by about 30% compared to its competitors in the same industry, which can effectively reduce equipment heating during shooting and increase the maximum video shooting time.

High frame rate and high dynamic range, vivid and smooth video
The SC525XS is equipped with Sitwell's patented PixGain HDR technology, with a dynamic range of up to 80dB, which can help the camera capture more light and dark details, making video lighting more vivid. Moreover, with PixGain HDR technology for dual frame fusion under the same exposure, the SC525XS can effectively suppress motion artifacts. Even when shooting high-speed moving objects, it can achieve a high dynamic range video shooting effect for mobile phone cameras with consistent brightness, clarity, and no ghosting.
The SC525XS can support high frame rate video shooting in various specifications such as 4K 120fps, 4k 60fps PixGain HDR, 12.5MP 30fps PixGain HDR+VS, and 2x focal length 4K 60fps, which can meet the application needs of different shooting scenarios and significantly improve the quality of flagship smartphone auxiliary camera videos, making video effects smoother and more seamless.

Low noise, high sensitivity, excellent low light imaging
Thanks to the advanced SFC Pixel SL and low-noise peripheral reading circuit technology of Sitwell, the SC525XS significantly reduces noise while improving sensitivity. Its sensitivity is as high as 1904mV/lux * s, which can make the imaging effect brighter and clearer in low light environments such as nighttime and evening. The reading noise of SC525XS is only about 0.86e -, which is about 38.6% lower than competitors of the same specifications in the industry. It can significantly improve the quality of night scene shooting images and make details cleaner and more delicate.
The excellent low light imaging effect of SC525XS can help the front camera of smartphones achieve better night recognition effect, and night selfies are also bright and vivid, making it easy to take pictures.
Dual mode quick focus, high-definition and fast capture
The SC525XS is equipped with Skyworth AllPix ADAF and Sparse PDAFTM technologies, supporting two fast focus modes. In low light environments such as evening and night, the SC525XS can use AllPix ADAF mode to achieve accurate and fast autofocus through 100% full pixel focusing. It can also capture images quickly and clearly in low light environments. Can the SC525XS use Sparse PDAF when there is sufficient light? Mode, with 6% pixel phase detection, ensures accurate focusing while effectively reducing operating power consumption.
On chip pixel recombination Remosaic
SC525XS supports on-chip pixel reassembly (Remosaic) and can output 50MP Fullsize high-resolution images and 12.5MP Fullsize high-definition videos without the need for smartphone SoC computing power support. On chip pixel recombination can reduce the computational power consumption of mobile SoC when outputting high-definition images, which is beneficial for improving the efficiency of subsequent image processing such as mobile AI image editing, and flexibly meeting the upgrading needs of high-end flagship smartphone imaging functions.
